Our Team: All of our professionals at Dr. Steven Dunning maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in dentistry.

Steve Dunning D.D.S.
Dr. Steven Dunning is a native of Plainville, a small town in northwest Kansas. Dr. Dunning completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas and Kansas State University. While at the University of Kansas he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity.

Dr. Dunning received his D.D.S. from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska, in l983, graduating in the top ten percent of his class. While at Creighton he was selected for membership into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Honorary Dental Society for senior students "showing proficiency during the entire course of dentistry as well as for character and conduct." Dr. Dunning was the 1983 recipient of the American College of Dentists Award "in recognition of professional and ethical achievement as exemplified by the record of clinical and scholastic performance in undergraduate dental education" for the Nebraska Section. Dr. Dunning opened his practice in Belton, Missouri in l983.

Dr. Dunning is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Orthodontics Association, The Kansas Society of Orthodontics for the General Practitioner, the American College of Oral Implantology, the Belton Chamber of Commerce and the Adrian Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Dunning participates in the Belton Research Foundation and is involved in a variety of community activities.

Team Leader and Account Manager Responsible for coordinating patient responsibilities for account recievables.		Jill Human Resource Director Jill joined our team in 2003. She is a graduate of Kansas State University. Outside of the office she is a Volunteer Coordinator, and is passionate about helping the homeless and breaking cycles of poverty. Jill loves to cook and play the piano. She enjoys traveling with her friends and spending time on the beach, swimming and snorkeling in the Carribean. She loves spending time with her family, including her dog, Lucy.

Dental Hygiene Team

Michelle Michelle joined our team in 2008. She is a Graduate of Johnson County Community College, with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She really enjoys the outdoors and spending time boating at the lake. She loves traveling with her family and is an avid reader. She reads about 70 books per year!		Trish Trish joined our team in 2009. She graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry, with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys gardening and fishing every chance she gets. Volleyball is her favorite sport to play, and she loves cooking crab legs on her smoker.
Jill Jill joined our team in 2009. She graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry, with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. In her free time, Jill enjoys scrapbooking and gardening. She loves all animals and taking long walks in the evening. Jill really enjoys cooking, especially breakfast, as well as playing softball with her nieces.

Assistants:

Jayme Jayme joined our team in 1999. She is passionate about being a mom and and really enjoys watching her children play sports. Jayme also enjoys watching her husband race in B-modified dirt racing. Summer is great for swimming and she likes 4-wheeling with her family all year round.		Arika Arika joined our team in 2007. She loves being a mom and enjoys farm life, including baling hay for her horses. She enjoys spending time outdoors 4-wheeling and riding horses with her family. Arika also participates in competitive barrel racing.
Monica Monica joined our team in 2007. She loves reading a variety of books and horseback riding with her friends. Monica really enjoys being involved with her children's activities including karate and soccer. Outdoor cookouts, bonfires and volleyball with her friends and family are favorite summer activities for Monica.		Teresa Teresa joined our team in 2009. She is a Chargers fan and loves bonfires on the beach. In her free time Teresa enjoys taking her son to the park, going to the movies and shopping with her friends.

Front Office Team:

Kim - Patient Coordinator Kim joined our team in 2009. She is responsible for working closely with our patients finding the best appointment time to accommodate all their needs. Outside of the office, Kim enjoys spending time with her kids and attending their sporting events. She really enjoys watching Nascar and football in her free time.		Jackie - Insurance Coordinator Jackie joined our team in 2009. She helps patients coordinate insurance benefits, and as a courtesy to our patients, files insurance after treatment. In her spare time Jackie enjoys spending time with her son, spinning, biking outside and swimming.
Kayla - Treatment Coordinator Kayla joined our team in 2010. Her favorite season is summer and all it has to offer, including the lake and going on float trips. When Kayla is not working she enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with her friends and family.		Megan - Patient Coordinator Megan is responsible for the successful scheduling of our patient's appointments in our Adrian, Mo. office. She works closely with our patients finding the best appointment time and schedule that will help accommodate all of our patient's needs. She enjoys scrapbooking and spending time outdoors gardening and biking. Her favorite thing is spending special time with her family.
